DESCRIPTION:
BIBLIOMIX is a monthly combination of print and music. Bibliomix combines a "text mix tape" of excerpts from published material chosen by a guest curator and read aloud by performers to a live soundtrack provided a DJ. Each month features a different literary specialist and a variety of musical and vocal talents.

BIOS
Joel Chmara - is a professor of communication @ the College of Lake County. He also teaches Rhetorical Bad Assing on the side. Joel has been on HBO's Def Poetry and ESPN Radio. He's part of the Speak'Easy Ensemble and the Mental Graffiti Collective.

Liz Winfield is a Chicago performance artist, member of 3Card Molly and will be appearing in the Random House Epic on May 10 - 12 (at 1732 North Humboldt Blvd).

Jessica Hudson is a Chicago performer in theater and dance. She has shared the stage this year with Walkabout Theatre, the Neofuturists and Peter Carpenter at the Dance Center of Columbia College. Jessica was an active member of the Chicago Kings for 5 years. By day, Jessica is a teaching artist with CAPE, Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education.
